Observing in Minnesota requires amateur astronomers to be part-time meteorologists as well.

Fortunately, the Internet is a wonderful resource for weather-related information.  In this section observers will find:

• Attilla Danko's popular 'Clear Sky Clock', customized for the observing site

• Current phase of the Moon courtesy of the United States Naval Observatory

• National Weather Service text and graphical forecasts

• Visible satellite imagery for Minnesota (daylight hours only)

• Infrared satellite imagery for Minnesota

• Space Environment Center aurora predictions

• Daily solar image from SOHO
