RadioShack Radio-Controlled Clock
From OnanWiki
Radio-controlled clocks, reporting time as broadcast by station WWVB in Boulder, are used at the observatory to ensure accurate time values are supplied to the computers controlling the mounts.
The clock checks the time six times daily. To determine whether the time has recently been updated, match the 'antenna icon' on the clock face with the values shown in the chart on the right-side of this page. The clocks also have a back-light feature for nighttime use. Set the clock on its stand, and gently press [Touch] to rock the clock back on its stand.
The full radio-controlled clock operating manual is available as a .pdf file.
