TEC Eyepiece Turret

The TEC eyepiece turret provides quick, easy access to five eyepieces of varying focal length. (See "Stellarvue SV152" for a list of the oculars currently in use at the observatory.)

[edit] Operation

Simply rotate the turret to select the desired eyepiece. The "TEC" logo on the rear of the turret indicates which eyepiece is currently in the optical path. The will make a slight 'click' when the eyepiece is positioned for viewing.

The body of the turret can be rotated 360 degrees to position the eyepiece for more comfortable viewing. To rotate the turret, loosen the screw on the barrel that attaches the turret to the telescope, move the turret body to the desired position and re-tighten the screw.
