DESCRIPTION:Public Star Party at the MAS Eagle Lake Observatory. \nThe Eagle Lake Observatory consists of the Onan Observatory\, the Sylvia A. Casby Observatory and the HotSpot Classroom. \nPublic nights at Eagle Lake are held about every other Saturday night from March till November. Annually\, we also host all day events for Astronomy Day\, Fall Astronomy Day and our annual Camping with the Stars event. DESCRIPTION:BSIG Beginner’s Special Interest Group Observing Session – POSTPONED\nHello all\,\n \nUnfortunately\, both Fri/Sat nights are expected to be totally cloudy.  We’ve decided to reschedule the next Beginner Observing session to next Saturday Sept. 17th at 7:00pm back at Metcalf Field.  Hopefully\, that night will actually be clear.\n \nPlease send me an email if you can make it out that night.  I will send out reminder emails next week as we get closer.  Sorry for the inconvenience.  \nMAS Metcalf Observing Field \nThere is no charge to attend a beginner event\, and you do not need to be an MAS member to attend — everyone is welcome!! The purpose is to help beginners learn the night sky\, and how to set up and use a telescope. Volunteers from the MAS will be on hand to answer your questions. \nIf you have a telescope\, feel free to bring it.
