Way to Give

There are several ways to give. You may use a crowdfunding site, such as givemn.org, utilitize PayPal, or send a personal check. We also can accept trasfer of stock to maximize your gift while potentially increasing your tax benefit. Contact the MAS Treasurer for details. Online donations incur a per-transaction fee of 2.2% to 4.9%. Larger donors may help MAS avoid this extra cost by submitting a donation directly to the MAS in the form of a personal check.

The MAS may also accept equipment donations.  The donations could be used in the Loaner Program, used in an obserevatory for member use, given away as a door-prize in a sponsored event, or sold.  Please contact the MAS Vice President to coordinate equipment donations.

The MAS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Tax implications of your donation may depend on individual circumstances. Please consult with your tax advisor.
