2025 MAS Monthly Meeting & Board Election & SWAP MEET – Featured Speaker: Todd Burlet
The MAS will be hosting a hybrid in-person & ZOOM Monthly Meeting. MAS meetings are free and open to the public. JOIN US!
The MAS will hold a business meeting to hold our Board Election. The positions of Vice President, Treasurer, and Board Member-at-Large are being voted upon. In-person member attendees will receive paper ballots, and online attendees will register with the Zoom link below and vote online. 10% of membership, or minimum of 50 people, are required to achieve a quorum.

We will also host a SWAP MEET on-site. Tables will be set up around the room, and people can buy and sell their astronomy gear, books, or accessories. Bring your stuff to sell and bring your money to buy! We will keep the usual business discussion short to let the speaker go early, so there should be plenty of time to SWAP.

You can probably hear best with a headset but your computer’s speaker and microphone will also work.

In order to ensure the most success we are asking everyone to follow a couple of rules:
- Don’t turn on your camera – it sucks up bandwidth and we really don’t need to see you.
- Keep your microphone muted until you are prompted during a question and answer session during the presentation. This will cut down background noise substantially.
- You can request to ask a question in the chat area of the Meet and wait to be prompted by the moderator.
