MAS Monthly Meeting – BOARD ELECTIONS – Featured Speaker Dr. Vanessa Bailey (NASA – Jet Propulsion Laboratory)

The December MAS Monthly Meeting will be a business meeting where the membership elects a new President, Secretary, and Board Member at Large. Business meetings require 10% of the total membership of the club to have a quorum. Currently that is about 75 members. Although this includes both in-person and online participants, we continue to struggle getting the requisite number of members attending to meet the quorum.

The MAS will be hosting a hybrid in-person & ZOOM Monthly Meeting.  MAS meetings are free and open to the public. JOIN US!

In order to ensure the most success we are asking everyone to follow a couple of rules:

• Don’t turn on your camera – it sucks up bandwidth and we really don’t need to see you.
• Keep your microphone muted until you are prompted during a question and answer session during the presentation. This will cut down background noise substantially.
• You can request to ask a question in the chat area of the Meet and wait to be prompted by the moderator.
